We are currnetly in the process of building a private website based on DNN v7.

Multiple blogs are one fo the features that we need to make available to logged in users. Depending on the logged in users rights they will have access to read and post comments to specific blogs.

So I would like to know if SunBlogNuke supports the following functionallity

    1. Full support for the built in DNN based security of the parent website.
      1. Ability to assign author rights to selected SunBlogNuke blogs to existing users based on the DNN rights of the parent site.
      2. Ability to assign read access and post comments to one or multiple of SunBlogNuke based blogs.
    2. Ability to moderate comments (ie: require commnet approval before comment is displayed on the blog)
    3. Ability to enable/disable comment's on a per blog basis.
      1. Ability to display approved (moderated) comments that were posted prior to the commenting function being disabled.
    4. Display of archives of past blog articles/posts.
    5. Statistics integration
      1. How many users read a specific blog, etc.

Does SunBlogNuke support comments directly or is the CommentPlus product also need to be purchased.

    Thanks

    Lee

    Hi Lee,

Thanks a lot for your interested in our blogging module. Please see the replies for your questions below:

    1) Yes, you can assign any dnn users/role group as blog authors; And you can configure who can post comments, registered users or any anonymous users.

    2) Yes, you can configure moderate comments before approval.

    3) Also you can disable comments in the blog level or post level, such as some specified posts without comments active.

    4) Yes, it supports archives feature, including category archives, monthly archives, tag archives etc.

    5) Now it just supports the views of any post.

    6) The blogging module supports built-in comments feature not required commentsplus module, which is more flexible comments module to be integrated with any 3rd party modules.

Hope it helps. And we are looking forwards to your join in our community. If you have any new question please feel free to let us know.
