There is a setting property in the wlwmanifest.xml depending on the feature. Please note that setting this value to true will allow the <!--more—> tag in your WLW. The collection page and simple entry partial were modified to have a "Read More" link whenever there is extended content.
Live Writer has built in support for splitting entries as seen in the picture to the below.
Also you can see the more features integrated with WLW, for example, keyword, category and slug etc. :)
I'm a little confused on this XML file. Can you step through how to enable the extended features so WLW has Keywords and Split features?Thank you so much!
Actully the wlwmanifest.xml in our dnn blog mldule has been configured those features active(check them with 'true'), i.e [supportsKeywords] and [supportsExtendedEntries]. Please make sure that there exists wlwmanifest.xml file in your module folder. Thanks for your asking.
Thanks for your fast reply. Yes the manifest exists under the SunBlog Moduke area. Looks like the settings are already "YES". See below: I also tried reconfiguring WLW to see the blog again. Everything works great, just no extended feattures like Keywords, Slug, or Split. Am I missing something?
Sorry the comments area would not take XML code. You will have to trust me. hehe! :-)
Well, please note that you have checked the [Enable MetaWeblog] option in your writing settings of SunBlog(Nuke) administrative panel. Hope it help. If not, please tell me which version of SunBlog(Nuke) you apply. Thanks a lot.
